The bathtub drain was completely plugged when I checked in and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. The manager did unplug the bathtub drain, but it was still an inconvenience. There was a lot of sharp grit on the carpet that apparently had been tracked in from the parking lot. The bed was comfortable though.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. While the facilities were not exactly luxurious (older, bit of wear and tear), they were clean, well decorated, and comfortable, and they accepted our pets for a modest fee. Also, the overall price was outstanding, and I liked the residential location. We will be staying again. At first, I thought the beds were too soft, but I woke with NO back pain!

Howie was great. The room was nice and the wifi worked well. Small TV but we did OK. Only thing to be aware of, is the heat is controlled by the hotel and by the room. So we had to ask for a blanket for the night. Overall, if I was going to Abilene, I would stay here again.

The building is lovely on the outside and as updated as is affordable. The inside is in need of renovation at least in the room we were in but it was clean.

Service was great, newly updated, beds and pillows were very comfortable and room was very large compared to most hotels on our trip. Make sure to dine at M &R Grill!!! It was amazing!

The friendly owner manager has started his American dream in middle America and is renovating one step at a time. My room was tastefully painted and decorated, the bathroom fixtures dated but worked. The bed very comfortable. Located in a quiet, safe area far from an interstate, I got a good nights sleep.

No breakfast Place is dated but tries to be clean. Room was clean and nice bed linens. Bath tub had rust and obvious wear. Room is crowded with furniture. Parking lot and utility rooms had mounded up trash visible and needed blowing off. Lots of dirt, leaves etc. Staff was excellent and helpful and very polite
